Crime Prevention
At the annual meeting, Officer James Reid from the Fairfax County Police Department extended the offer for all Loft Ridge residents to have their house analyzed for security. The process takes about 30 minutes to complete. If you are interested, please contact Officer James Reid at

Paint Colors and Discount

 


With Spring projects underway, please remember that each house has a specific color scheme. All paint colors are McCormick brand paints. Before painting your house, please check with management to obtain the proper color scheme for your house.

Direct Debit
All Loft Ridge Residents are able to sign up for direct debit for their HOA dues, at no cost. Please fill out this form and return it to management.  Please contact management at 703-803-9641 for any further information on the program or how to enroll.

Street Light Out?
If one of our community street lights has gone out, please call Dominion (888-667-3000 x1 x1 x4) and ask the operator that answers to have it replaced (allow one to two weeks).  Be sure to save the work order number just in case you have to call back -- if the light hasn't been replaced in two weeks, call back with the work order number (the replacement should be made a priority at that point).

Coyotes in Loft Ridge
Fairfax County officials have verified that coyotes are present in Fairfax County, as well as in Loft Ridge.  Several residents have now reported seeing coyotes on both sides of our community (one was spotted by two board members running across lower Ridge View Drive on October 1st, and another was seen in the woods behind Evergreen Knoll Court on September 30th.) 
Coyotes are shy when it comes to people and do not pose a threat to adults or children.  However, while coyotes will avoid contact with humans and usually run as soon as they see a person approaching, their diet includes cats and small dogs!

PLEASE, do not allow your cats or dogs to roam or run freely; they could easily wander into a coyote's territory and end up as prey.
