About the Nominating Committee
This committee is constituted according to the Association bylaws. The main purpose is to identify potential candidates to serve on the Board of Directors; identify the best candidates; agree on a set of nominees and then determine their willingness to serve.
The committee receives and reviews nominations forms from individuals willing to serve.
There are no set meetings of the committee. Since discussions will involve specific individuals and personal information, there are no committee meetings however, committee members review the nominations forms and communicate with the chair via email.
The committee can make as many nominations for election to the Board of Directors as it shall in its discretion determine, but not less than the number of vacancies that are to be filled.
If you wish to be considered click below to print the nomination form and return it to any member of the committee. For 2017, there are two Board members whose terms are up. All terms for the Board are three (3) year terms.
What are the duties of a Board Member?
- Attend monthly Board meetings
- Volunteer your time to the Loft Ridge Homeowners Association, making decisions as a Board that will benefit the community
- Act as a voice for the community
What makes a strong Board member?
- Must be able to work well with others
- Must be able to be a team player
- Must have the ability to provide volunteer hours to the community
Board meetings are generally the 3rd Thursday of Every Month
It is strongly suggested that you attend a Board meeting prior to the annual meeting so that you are able to get a feel for the duties of a Board Member. Click here for a nominations form!
Deadline for submitting the Nominations Form is May 10, 2016. Person(s) submitting a Nominations Form after May 10, 2017 will be nominated from the floor of the Annual Meeting on May 18, 2017.
