The Loft Ridge Mom's Group was started in 2004 by a few neighbors who wanted to meet, talk and allow their small infants and children to play together.  What started out as meetings rotating between a few moms homes, expanded to the playgrounds and the internet with the Yahoo Loft Ridge Mom's Group.

Since the neighborhood is constantly changing due to moms moving away and new moms coming in, we wanted to post our group information to share with the rest of the community and invite new moms to join!  We sometimes plan play dates and playground gatherings, but also take time out of our busy schedule to go to an occasional dinner “sans” children.

The group is for stay-at-home moms and dads, and working moms too, no one is excluded.  It’s a great way to find or recommend a local babysitter and to share news and information.

Last year the moms group sponsored a Halloween Parade with an excellent turn out, and this spring an Easter egg hunt was held.  This year’s upcoming activities also include meetings and committees for new playground equipment, and we're in the early stages of planning this years Halloween parade.  Please join our group if you are a new member in our community, as we’d love to have you!

Take the Mom's Group Tot Lot Poll!!

At a recent meeting of the Tot Lot Replacement Committee, several questions were raised that the Committee thought could best be answered by polling the parents.  We have constructed a short poll.  Please take a minute to complete it!

1.   How many children do you have?  What are their ages?

2.  This committee is currently focusing on replacing equipment geared toward the 2-5/2-7 age range.  In the future would there be interest in having a separate playground for the 7-12 age group? (Please only respond pro or con.  Currently no money has been set aside in the reserve fund for this type of play area ).

3. How important are baby/toddler swings?

4.  How important are regular swings?

5.  Additional Comments?
